Alessia Ciao a tutte e benvenute nel mio blog! Bene oggi siamo giunte alla fine del nostro salto nel passato. Siamo arrivati agli anni 2000, scopriamo assieme di chi andrò a parlarvi oggi.
2004 Matrimonio di Letizia Ortiz col Principe Felipe di Spagna
L’abito di Letizia fu disegnato da Manuel Pertegaz, scelto su consiglio della Regina Madre Sofia. Il vestito ha una silohuette rigorosa con maniche lunghe, collo alto ed era stato creato come omaggio alla Famiglia reale. Infatti la gonna, il colletto e il lungo velo sono stati arricchiti da un delicato ricamo in fili d’ argento che rappresentava il giglio borbonico. Stemma dei Borboni di Spagna e della casata dei Capertingi.
Tutt’ora Letizia è un’icona di stile per la sua semplicità, eleganza e bellezza.

2011 Matrimonio di Catherine Elizabeth Middleton con il Principe William
La stilista scelta per l’occasione è Sara Burton; il colore scelto è un mix perfetto tra il bianco e l’avorio, presenti entrambi. La Stoffa e i pizi erano un misto tra il satin e il gazar di seta. Lo stascico era lungo 2,7 metri.
La gonna rappresenta un fiore, creando un drapeggio per dare la forma dei petali in stile vittoriano. Il pizzo è stato creato dalle ricamatrici della Royal School of Needlework di Londra.
La tiara che Catherine usò quel giorno( la Halo tiara di Cartier) era qualcosa di prestato…direttamente dalla Regina Elisabetta II!!!
Le scarpe sono state realizzate a mano dal Brand McQueen in duchesse satin e il pizzo della Royal School.
Il Bouquet disegnato da Shane Connoly è stupendo! Pensate che ogni fiore presente al suo interno custodiva un romantico significato:
Giglio: il ritorno alla felicità
Giacinto: l’amore etrno
Edera: la fedeltà e l’amicizia
Mirto: emblema del matrimonio
Ovviamente non poteva mancare qualcosa di blu nascosto nel vestito.
Eccoci alla fine di questo nostro viaggio nel passato, sicuramente ci saranno stati molti altri matrimoni che in qualche modo hanno lasciato qualcosa di loro alle generazioni successive, ma questi sono quelli che mi hanno colpita maggiormente.
E voi avete una vostra principessa attuale o del passato che preferite?
Io personalmente ammiro la Duchessa di Cambridge in quanto la ritengo una persona gentile, una mamma premurosa e una donna forte.

2004 Marriage of Letizia Ortiz with Prince Felipe of Spain
Letizia’s dress was designed by Manuel Pertegaz, chosen on the advice of Queen Mother Sofia.The dress has a strict silohuette with long sleeves, high neck and was created as a tribute to the Royal Family.In fact, the skirt, the collar and the long veil were enriched by a delicate embroidery in silver threads that represented the Bourbon lily. Coat of arms of the Spanish Bourbons and of the House of Capertingi.
Letizia is still a style icon for its simplicity, elegance and beauty.

The tiara Catherine used that day( Cartier’s Halo tiara) was something borrowed…directly from Queen Elizabeth II!!
The shoes were handmade by the Mcqueen Brand in duchesse satin and the lace of the Royal School.
The Bouquet designed by Shane Connoly is amazing! Think that every flower in it held a romantic meaning:
Giglio: the return to happiness
Hyacinth: the etrno love
Ivy: fidelity and friendship
Mirto: emblem of marriage
Obviously there was something blue hidden in the dress.
Here we are at the end of our journey in the past, surely there have been many other marriages that have somehow left something of them to later generations, but these are the ones that have affected me most.
And do you have a current or past princess of yours that you prefer?
I personally admire the Duchess of Cambridge as I consider her a kind person, a caring mother and a strong woman.
