Alessia Buongiorno a tutti, come state? Siamo giunti quasi alla fine di ottobre e volevo ringraziare tutti quelli che leggono i miei articoli e che mi seguono anche su facebook e instagram!
Visto che si sta avvicinando il mio periodo dell’anno preferito, mi fermo momentaneamente col parlarvi dei matrimoni, per parlarvi degli eventi visto che mi occupo anche di questo. La definizione del concetto di “evento” che mi è stata data durante il corso si basa su degli studi effettuati e dice così:
“Alcuni studi sottolineano il carattere rievocativo e rituale dell’evento, definendolo come “un rito pubblico tematizzato”, che nasce con una distinta finalità delimitata nel tempo; altri studi si sono soffermati sulla sua forza comunicativa per suscitare interesse, richiamare l’attenzione di un pubblico, interessato ai temi presentati. Un evento, che sia inteso come attività ricreativa e ludica o come strumento di divulgazione per raggiungere, efficacemente ed in modo pregnante, gli obiettivi per cui è stato ideato ed organizzato, deve essere programmato, definito in tutti i suoi particolari, affinché possa raggiungere gli obiettivi per cui è stato ideato.”
Io tenderei a distinguere tra gli eventi privati ed eventi pubblici, anche se hanno molti punti organizzativi simili, ad un certo punto prendono strade diverse. Ma parliamo principalmente di eventi privati, di cosa parlo? Ovvio di tutte quelle feste che non prevedono un pubblico immenso ma solo amici e parenti; ma quali sono gli eventi più importanti nella vita di una persona? Partiamo dall’inizio: sicuramente avrete sentito parlare del baby shower! E’ una festa che arriva dall’America e consiste nel festeggiare la mamma e il bebè in arrivo. Il Santo Battesimo, la Comunione, la Cresima, i 18 anni, il diploma, la laurea, il fidanzamento, il matrimonio. Poi ancora il primo compleanno dei figli e i vari anniversari di matrimonio (che vedremo più avanti).
E gli eventi che prevedono un pubblico? Quelle riguardano concerti, sfilate, manifestazioni, in pratica tutte quelle feste che attirano gente da ogni dove per parteciparvi. Per finire ci sono le festività date dal calendario come San Valentino, il carnevale, Pasqua, Natale e Capodanno che possono essere fatte sia in un contesto privato all’interno della propria casa o leggermente più in grande all’interno di location come ristoranti.
Come gestirei un evento privato? Direi in modo simile a come si pianifica un matrimonio, ma ovviamente molto più in piccolo, ma sempre con una scaletta precisa da seguire per non lasciare nulla per strada. Mi serve la data dell’evento con qualche mese d’anticipo, sapere qual’è l’occasione e il tema scelto e poi si parte con la scelta degli inviti, la lista degli invitati, la location, le decorazioni, il tutto rispettando il tema. E per un evento pubblico? Se intendiamo come evento pubblico per esempio un Capodanno in villa, allora le cose sono leggermente diverse: mi devo occupare principalmente degli allestimenti seguendo un tema che mi viene proposto o che propongo io, ed eventualmente l’intrattenimento per la serata; ovviamente anche tutto l’aspetto legato alla pubblicità (volantini/ pubblicità in radio o su giornali…)
E quelli in grande? Qui è più complesso in quanto ci vuole uno studio sotto più approfondito: la scelta della tipologia dell’evento, il pubblico che si vuole attirare, la zona dove deve essere fatto, il quando, la tempistica della pubblicità che è fondamentale e tanti altri aspetti che vedremo più avanti. E come con l’organizzazione di matrimoni adoro poter far volare la mia fantasia e realizzare qualcosa di unico.

Since my favorite time of the year is approaching, I will stop briefly talking to you about weddings, to tell you about the events since I also take care of this. The definition of the concept of “event” that was given to me during the course is based on the studies carried out and says as follows:
“Some studies underline the evocative and ritual character of the event, defining it as” a themed public rite “, which was born with a distinct purpose defined over time; other studies have focused on its communicative power to arouse interest, draw the attention of an audience, interested in the topics presented. An event, which is intended as a recreational and playful activity or as a dissemination tool to effectively and meaningfully reach the objectives for which it was conceived and organized, must be planned, defined in all its details, so that it can achieve the objectives for which it was designed. “
I would tend to distinguish between private events and public events, even if they have many similar organizational points, at some point they take different paths. But we mainly talk about private events, what am I talking about? Obvious of all those parties that do not involve a huge audience but only friends and relatives; but what are the most important events in a person’s life? Let’s start from the beginning: surely you have heard about the baby shower! It is a party that comes from America and consists of celebrating the mother and the baby on the way. Holy Baptism, Communion, Confirmation, 18 years, diploma, degree, engagement, marriage. Then again the children’s first birthday and various wedding anniversaries (which we will see later).
What about events with an audience? Those concern concerts, parades, events, basically all those parties that attract people from all over to participate. Finally, there are the holidays given by the calendar such as Valentine’s Day, Carnival, Easter, Christmas and New Year which can be done either in a private context inside your home or slightly larger in locations such as restaurants. How would I manage a private event? I would say similar to how to plan a wedding, but obviously much smaller, but always with a precise schedule to follow so as not to leave anything on the road. I need the date of the event a few months in advance, know what the occasion and the chosen theme is and then we start with the choice of invitations, the guest list, the location, the decorations, all respecting the theme. And for a public event? If we intend as a public event for example a New Year’s Eve in the villa, then things are slightly different: I have to deal mainly with the preparations following a theme that is proposed to me or that I propose, and possibly the entertainment for the evening; obviously also all the aspect related to advertising (flyers / advertising on the radio or in newspapers …)
And the big ones? Here it is more complex as it takes a more in-depth study: the choice of the type of event, the audience you want to attract, the area where it must be done, the when, the timing of the advertising which is fundamental and many other aspects. which we will see later. And as with organizing weddings I love being able to let my imagination fly and create something unique.
