La nuance eletta per interpretare il nuovo anno mostra un’attitudine vivace e gioiosa, incoraggia la creatività ed esprime fantasia e, per la prima volta, è un neo colore. Laurie Pressman, Vice Presidente di Pantone Color Institute ci da una spiegazione sulla scelta di questa specifica tonalità: “Una dinamica tonalità blu pervinca con un vivificante sottotono rosso violaceo fonde la fedeltà e la costanza del blu con l’energia e l’eccitazione del rosso”. “Grazie ad un nuovo colore, riflettiamo l’innovazione e la trasformazione globale in atto. La società continua a riconoscere il colore come forma fondamentale di comunicazione ed espressione e la complessità di questa nuova tonalità di blu, infusa di rosso-viola, evidenzia le possibilità che si aprono davanti a noi”.
