Alessia Buona sera a tutti, chiedo scusa per l’orario, ma oggi sono andata con Matteo a prendere le stoffe per creare gli abiti da sposa che saranno utilizzati nella sfilata di presentazione del 29 maggio!
Martedì vi ho parlato delle acconciature e stasera riprendo l’argomento velo da sposa che avevo accennato in precedenza. Il velo da sposa racchiude in sé un fascino che non ha paragoni, rendendo ancora più solenne il momento dell’ingresso in chiesa, specialmente se la sposa è accompagnata all’altare dal padre.
Il velo da sposa evoca un rito e una sacralità tipica dell’accessorio in sé. È un qualcosa di romantico, poetico e intimo, che dona un’aura speciale alla sposa che sceglierà di indossarlo, rendendola bellissima e carismatica.
Il dilemma velo “sì o no” è vecchio quasi come il matrimonio ma la risposta delle ultime tendenze è del tutto a favore di questo impalpabile “pezzo di tessuto”, che rappresenta molto più di un accessorio, perché condiziona tutto: dall’abito all’acconciatura, fino allo stile stesso della sposa.
Ma quale pettinatura conviene scegliere per indossare il velo?
Le pettinature da realizzare sono moltissime: con i capelli raccolti a chignon alto sulla testa oppure basso; con i capelli sciolti con piega mossa, liscia o a onde morbide.
Si potrà impreziosire e fissare il velo con una tiara di brillanti o con un diadema per rendere il viso della sposa luminoso e magnetico, catturando l’attenzione dei presenti;
questa soluzione non è adatta però a tutte le spose, poiché un gioiello è sempre un accessorio impegnativo e vistoso, soprattutto se è posizionato all’altezza della testa. Esso catturerà di certo l’attenzione, ma darà un tocco di unicità all’abito.
Qualora, invece, si volesse ricreare un’atmosfera idilliaca, il velo potrà essere fermato all’indietro e impreziosito alla sommità con fiori di campo o piccoli boccioli di roselline, di fiori d’arancio, mughetti e pomelie (plumeria, chiamata anche frangipane, è un genere di piante della famiglia delle Apocinacee, originario dell’America tropicale).
In questo modo, il risultato sarà sicuramente incantevole nella sua semplicità, ma allegro, colorato e frizzante. Anche la forma e la posizione del velo possono variare.
Con un’acconciatura raccolta, in genere, si usa porlo appena sopra o appena sotto un elaborato chignon.
Ci sono, invece, veli che si utilizzano su acconciature sempre raccolte, ma che coprono anche il volto.
Con i capelli completamente sciolti può essere indossato in stile fine anni sessanta, ovvero applicato sulla nuca e lasciato scendere sulla fronte.

La veletta o Birdcage, tra i tipi di velo da sposa, è il più corto in assoluto, assolutamente chic e l’ideale per un abito corto e un matrimonio anni 20 o 30.Viene appuntato sulla parte alta della testa, o anche lateralmente, e può coprire solo gli occhi o l’intero volto. Lungo circa 30 centimetri, il velo da sposa a triangolo (anche detto velo a petalo) copre il mento, mentre sulle spalle è leggermente più lungo. Il velo ai fianchi è chiamato anche Fingertips, cioè velo alle dita (finger, in inglese).Si tratta del velo più scelto e popolare tra le spose perché lungo 180 centimetri e, quindi, perfetto su ogni tipologia di vestito o body shape, cioè in base alla fisicità della sposa. Con il velo al ginocchio o Knee iniziamo a parlare dei tipi di velo sposa lunghi. Supera i 2 metri ed è molto originale, adatto alle spose fuori dal comune e unconventional. . Tipico dei matrimoni spagnoli e del Sud Italia (ma, ad oggi, scelto dalle spose di tutto il mondo), si appoggia direttamente sull’acconciatura della sposa, tenuto da un fermaglio o da mollettine nascoste, e cade sui gomiti.
