Alessia Buona sera a tutti, come state? Scusate per l’ora, ma avevo il sito in aggiornamento e solo ora riesco a scrivere. Ho pensato di riprendere in modo riassuntivo alcuni dei miei articoli dedicati agli abiti da sposa, vi piace come idea?
Iniziamo con i modelli che possiamo trovare quando cercate il vostro abito:
Linea a sirena: questa è una delle linee più sensuali e femminili. L’abito a sirena è però un modello che deve essere usato con cura, proprio per i suoi elementi distintivi, che si adattano a un certo tipo di donna ma non a tutte.
La sua caratteristica principale è quella di essere molto aderente e di seguire le curve del corpo della sposa, fino a metà gamba, dove la gonna si apre ampia e voluminosa, creando un effetto che ricorda proprio la coda di una sirena.
• Linea a principessa: questo abito fascia il busto e la vita per poi gonfiarsi, vaporosamente, fino a terra.
L’effetto di vaporosità è dato dai tessuti che, generalmente, vengono usati per realizzare il sottogonna: il tulle, il taffettà o l’organza. Il vestito “a principessa” nasconde facilmente i fianchi abbondanti e valorizza una vita sottile. È il tipo di vestito più ricercato da chi ha sempre sognato, sin da bambina, di sembrare una principessa d’altri tempi almeno per un giorno.
•Linea ad “A”: questa linea di abito fascia il busto e la vita e poi si allarga, creando una forma che ricorda proprio
la lettera A. È uno dei modelli che può donare a quasi tutti i tipi di costituzione e maggiormente si adatta a spose non molto alte, poiché slancia.
• Linea stile “impero”: la caratteristica del modello d’abito da sposa in stile “impero” è rappresentata dalla vita alta, segnata appena sotto il seno. Questo modello tende a slanciare la figura, camuffando pancia e fianchi.
Il modo migliore per rendere questo abito meraviglioso e raffinato è quello di realizzare dei livelli differenziati di
tessuto molto leggero, creando l’effetto “movimento” dell’abito.
Quest’abito trasforma la donna in una “dea greca” con le sue linee armoniose e morbide che tendono a dare slancio alla figura e a valorizzare anche un seno non molto prosperoso evidenziando il decolleté.
• Linea a tubino: quest’abito ha una linea semplice che accompagna la forma del corpo ma, proprio per questo,
risulta un po’ attillato e non passa inosservato. Si addice a una sposa alta e snella. Il suo unico difetto è che tende a limitare i movimenti, creando qualche disagio alla sposa che decide di indossarlo.
• Linea a “sottoveste”:questo è un tipo di abito da sposa, con o senza spalline, che non permette di camuffare i punti critici del corpo di una donna e quindi si addice, tranne qualche rara eccezione, a una corporatura armoniosa e sottile. Di contro però indossato da una donna troppo magra, rischierebbe di farla sembrare poco femminile.
• Linea a “palloncino”: questo tipo di vestito da sposa, si caratterizza per la sua silhouette intramontabile ed elegante adatta a molti tipi di donne. Questo vestito è la scelta ideale sia per spose alte, sia per quelle con forme un po’ abbondanti. Le donne minute dovrebbero essere sconsigliate dallo scegliere questa tipologia di abito, poiché la figura rischierebbe di perdersi dentro un abito troppo “importante”.
Ma quale modello scegliere in base al mio fisico?
Fisico a pera: ovvero quando le tue spalle sono più strette dei fianchi.
Niente paura anche io ho un fisico così e il mio obbiettivo era di nascondere i fianchi e mettere in risalto la parte superiore del corpo. L’abito ideale per chi ha questo fisico è quello che crea armonia e rimodella le proporzioni tra fianchi e busto. Lo stile impero può fare al caso tuo, ma anche gli abiti da sposa con una linea semplice con un taglio scivolato o svasato. La scollatura, senza bretelline( anche se io le ho messe).
Da evitare assolutamente lo stile sirena perché evidenzierebbe ciò che vogliamo nascondere. Una classica linea ad A è quella giusta per il tuo vestito da sposa. Il mio consiglio è quello di concentrarsi sul corpetto dell’abito: un vestito classico, con gonna ampia con corsetto stretto, attirerà più l’attenzione sulla parte superiore, minimizzando i fianchi larghi.
Fisico a triangolo: quando le spalle sono più larghe dei fianchi e il tuo giro vita non è molto definito.
In questo caso la tua priorità è mettere in risalto il giro vita e l’abito a sirena sicuramente soddisferà le tue aspettative. Ma se vuoi essere ancora più al centro dell’attenzione, ti consiglio due scollature molto particolari e poco usate: il modello halter che prevede un incrocio sopra il seno e il modello Queen Anne.
Questo tipo di scollatura presenta un colletto che va rialzandosi, nella parte posteriore del collo e uno scollo a “V” di varia profondità nella parte anteriore. Le spalle vengono coperte con delicatezza mentre invece il decollété acquista importanza con linee geometriche elegantissime.
Decisamente 2 scollature poco convenzionali!
Fisico ovale: le spalle sono arrotondate e hai più volume nella parte centrale del corpo.
Missione principale, togliere lo sguardo sulla parte centrale del corpo, punta su spalle e seno! Lo stile impero viene nuovamente in vostro aiuto, ma se non vi sentite a priprio agio o semplicemente non vi piace, potete scegliere anche un modello principesco, che abbraccerà le tue curve. Puoi anche provare un abito scivolato con una scollatura profonda a “V” per far risaltare il decolletè.
Fisico rettangolare: quando spalle, vita e fianchi sono quasi della stessa grandezza.
La linea a sottoveste non fa per te, mentre il modello a sirena ti darebbe quel slancio stai cercando. Lo scollo a barchetta ti aiuterà a valorizzare le tue spalle!
Fisico a clessidra: quando fianchi e spalle sono della stessa misura e la vita è stretta
I modelli a sottoveste e i modelli con il taglio scivolato ti daranno quel tocco in più per farti sentire come una dea. Lo stile impero te lo sconsiglio per via che potrebbe appesantire la tua figura e con la tua bella vita stretta puoi giocare anche con lo stile sirena. La scollatura? Ovviamente quella a cuore.
Anche in questo caso le decorazioni sono perfette per rendere personale un abito che di per sé presenta una linea molto semplice. E per valorizzare il collo? Una bella e delicata collana.
Fisico a mela: rappresentato sa un seno abbondante, fianchi rotondi e un lato B importante.
È importante quindi tenere a bada forme troppo generose ed esaltare le parti più discrete del tuo corpo. Puoi optare per un abito ad “A” dove però la vita dell’abito deve essere alta e la parte superiore non deve essere attillata. Uno stile impero mette in evidenza il décolleté e nasconde l’abbondanza dei fianchi e del lato B, candendo dritto e delicato sul tuo corpo.
Questo modello di abito da sposa è perfetto anche per le spose non particolarmente alte, perché allunga la figura.
Con un corpo mascolino o atletico? Anche in questo caso, ci troviamo di fronte a due opzioni: nel caso un cui il tuo fisico fosse sì asciutto, ma con tutte le curve al posto giusto, puoi optare per un abito aderente, magari dalla schiena scoperta, per valorizzare la tua muscolatura.
Se, invece, il tuo corpo si presenta asciutto e non particolarmente strutturato, quello che bisogna fare è creare otticamente delle curve in prossimità del lato B, valorizzando al contempo il busto sottile e longilineo. L’abito perfetto per te è, quindi, un modello principesco, dalla gonna ampia e il corpetto attillato; per creare delle curve attorno ai fianchi, opta per un abito dalla vita bassa e non lesinare con rouches e decorazioni vaporose. Ricorda, però se hai scelto un vestito dalla gonna importante non eccedere con decorazioni e fronzoli nella parte alta dell’abito.
Se come me siete bassine, scegliete abiti dalle linee che slanciano la figura come modelli con taglio asimmetrico o scivolato. Evitate ovviamente le gonne vaporose. Le scarpe…leggevo una rivista che diceva che non si può andare sotto ai 10 cm, ma io vi consiglio di mettere il tacco che siete abituate ad usare perchè starete tutto il giorno con quelle scarpe, dovete camminare e ballare perciò dovete stare comode. Io ho usato un tacco 7, ma non essendo per niente abituata ad usarli a fine serata erano in un angolo e camminavo scalza. Potete anche optare per una cambio scarpe da usare al ricevimento.

It is the type of dress most sought after by those who have always dreamed, since childhood, of looking like a princess of the past at least for a day. • “A” line: this line of dress wraps the bust and waist and then widens, creating a shape that resembles the letter A. It is one of the models that can give to almost all types of constitution and is best suited to not very tall brides, as it is slender. • “Empire” style line: the characteristic of the “empire” style wedding dress model is represented by the high waist, marked just below the bust. This model tends to slim the figure, disguising the belly and hips. The best way to make this dress gorgeous and refined is to make different layers of very light fabric, creating the “movement” effect of the dress. This dress transforms the woman into a “Greek goddess” with its harmonious and soft lines that tend to give impetus to the figure and enhance even a not very prosperous breast by highlighting the décolleté.
• Sheath line: this dress has a simple line that accompanies the shape of the body but, precisely for this reason, it is a bit tight and does not go unnoticed. It suits a tall and slender bride. Its only flaw is that it tends to limit movement, creating some discomfort for the bride who decides to wear it. • “Petticoat” line: this is a type of wedding dress, with or without straps, which does not allow to camouflage the critical points of a woman’s body and therefore suits, with some rare exceptions, a harmonious and slim body . On the other hand, however, worn by a woman who is too thin, it would risk making her look not very feminine. • “Balloon” line: this type of wedding dress is characterized by its timeless and elegant silhouette suitable for many types of women. This dress is the ideal choice for both tall brides and for those with somewhat abundant shapes. Small women should be advised against choosing this type of dress, as the figure would risk getting lost in a dress that is too “important”.
But which model to choose based on my physique?
Pear-shaped body: when your shoulders are narrower than your hips. Don’t worry, I also have a body like this and my goal was to hide the hips and highlight the upper body. The ideal dress for those with this physique is the one that creates harmony and reshapes the proportions between the hips and bust. The empire style may be for you, but also wedding dresses with a simple line with a slipped or flared cut. The neckline, without straps (even if I put them on). Absolutely avoid the mermaid style because it would highlight what we want to hide. A classic A-line is the right one for your wedding dress. My advice is to focus on the bodice of the dress: a classic dress, with a wide skirt with a tight corset, will attract more attention to the upper part, minimizing the wide hips. Triangle body: when your shoulders are wider than your hips and your waistline is not very defined. In this case, your priority is to highlight the waistline and the mermaid dress will surely meet your expectations. But if you want to be even more at the center of attention, I recommend two very special and little used necklines: the halter model that features a cross over the bust and the Queen Anne model. This type of neckline features a rising collar at the back of the neck and a “V” neckline of varying depths at the front. The shoulders are covered with delicacy while the decollété acquires importance with very elegant geometric lines. Definitely 2 unconventional necklines!
Rectangular physique: when shoulders, waist and hips are almost the same size. The petticoat line is not for you, while the mermaid model would give you that momentum you are looking for. The boat neckline will help you to enhance your shoulders! Hourglass physique: when hips and shoulders are the same size and the waist is narrow Petticoat models and slipped cut models will give you that extra touch to make you feel like a goddess. I do not recommend the empire style because it could weigh down your figure and with your beautiful narrow waist you can also play with the mermaid style. The neckline? Obviously the one at heart. Also in this case the decorations are perfect to personalize a dress that in itself has a very simple line. And to enhance the neck? A beautiful and delicate necklace. Apple-shaped body: shown with abundant breasts, round hips and an important B-side. It is therefore important to keep overly generous shapes at bay and enhance the more discreet parts of your body. You can opt for an “A” dress where, however, the waist of the dress must be high and the top must not be tight. An empire style highlights the décolleté and hides the abundance of the hips and side B, blending straight and delicate on your body. This wedding dress model is also perfect for brides who are not particularly tall, because it elongates the figure.
With a masculine or athletic body? Also in this case, we are faced with two options: in the event that your body is so dry, but with all the curves in the right place, you can opt for a tight-fitting dress, perhaps with an uncovered back, to enhance your muscles. . If, on the other hand, your body is lean and not particularly structured, what you need to do is create optically curves near side B, while enhancing the slim and slender bust. The perfect dress for you is, therefore, a princely model, with a wide skirt and tight bodice; to create curves around the hips, opt for a low-waisted dress and don’t skimp on ruffles and fluffy decorations. Remember, however, if you have chosen a dress with an important skirt, do not overdo it with decorations and frills in the upper part of the dress. If like me you are short, choose dresses with slender lines such as models with asymmetrical or slipped cut. Obviously avoid fluffy skirts. Shoes … I was reading a magazine that said that you can’t go below 10 cm, but I advise you to put on the heel you are used to because you will be wearing those shoes all day long, you have to walk and dance so you have to be comfortable. I used a 7 heel, but not at all used to using them at the end of the evening they were in a corner and I was walking barefoot. You can also opt for a shoe change to use at the reception.
