Se vi ricordate verso la fine dello scorso anno vi avevo parlato delle feste di compleanno… facciamo un passo indietro…
Qua in Italia solitamente festeggiamo il 18esimo con una festa enorme, perchè per noi segna l’ingresso alla maggiore età, ma se pensate in altre zone del mondo festeggiano con una grande festa i 15 o 16 anni, vi faccio qualche esempio: nel mondo latino-americano i festeggiamenti per i 15 anni sono memorabili, soprattutto per le ragazze che attendono questa tappa con impazienza organizzando una festa strepitosa. In Inghilterra si festeggiano i dolci 16 anni con una festa in grande che un pochino prende spunto dalla tradizione francese del ballo delle debuttanti. Quindi perchè non festeggiare anche noi?
Anche qui è sempre più in voga questo tipo di feste riprendendo quelle estere. Per esempio la quinceañera può essere paragonata alla festa di diciotto anni che si usa organizzare in Italia. Si tratta della celebrazione dei 15 anni di una ragazza, sottolineando il suo ingresso nell’età adulta
È una festa tipica dell’America Latina, un vero e proprio evento che le teenagers aspettano con ansia e sul quale fantasticano sin da bimbe. La concezione dell’età e della maturità, in America Latina, è leggermente diversa da quella che abbiamo in Italia. Una quindicenne, cioè una quinceañera, è considerata già una donna. Per questo, il festeggiamento del quindicesimo compleanno è una data importante, fondamentale, che le ragazze attendono con ansia. La quinceañera solitamente è organizzata alternando in modo elegante ed equilibrato momenti di ballo e ristoro. Il tutto inizia con l’ingresso della festeggiata nella location scelta, al braccio del papà. Il gesto simbolico rappresenta la benedizione del padre, che accompagna la ragazza all’età adulta, consegnandola alla società. In alcuni casi la festa inizia con un valzer, ballato da papà e figlia al centro della sala. A questo punto si aprono le danze libere. Gli invitati possono iniziare a divertirsi e la festeggiata può lasciare l’abbraccio del suo papà.
